Blended Learning: Online Theory & Face-to-Face Practical This CPD Training Course is designed for qualified beauty and aesthetics practitioners wishing to safely introduce dermaplaning treatments into their practice. Training is delivered via blended learning, combining online theory with a face-to-face practical training day. Online Theory (must be completed prior to practical): skin anatomy and physiology, indications and contraindications, Fitzpatrick skin types, treatment depths and techniques, device safety, infection control and PPE, consultation and treatment planning, risks and complications, aftercare, legal considerations, insurance and CPD requirements. Face-to-Face Practical Training: live educator demonstration, correct device handling and depth control, supervised hands-on model practice, treatment sequencing, aftercare advice, and safe working practices. All equipment and consumables are provided unless stated otherwise. Entry Requirements: learners must be 18+ and hold a Level 2 or 3 Beauty qualification, be a qualified aesthetic practitioner, or provide evidence of relevant facial or advanced skin treatment experience. Proof of qualifications or experience is required. Assessment & Certification: learners are assessed through completion of online theory and practical observation. A CPD certificate is issued upon successful completion. Accreditation Disclaimer: this is CPD training and not a regulated qualification. Completion does not guarantee insurance; learners must confirm acceptance with their insurer. Insurance & Scope: learners are responsible for obtaining appropriate professional insurance and must work within their scope of practice and local regulations. Health & Safety: training follows current UK health, safety, infection control and PPE standards. Course Fee: £450. A £150 non-refundable deposit is required at booking, with the balance due 14 days before training. Places are limited. Location: St Austell, Cornwall. Course dates are released regularly. Cancellations: deposits are non-refundable. One date transfer may be permitted with at least 14 days’ notice. If the course is postponed by the academy, an alternative date or refund will be offered.
